I love the beach. I’ve been talking about Hawaii a lot lately, but I love a good beach anywhere! My husband and I got married on the beach in Galveston, Texas. I spent a lot of time researching beach weddings ideas. If you’re interested in having a Beach Wedding, you’re in luck! I’ve already found some awesome ideas for you. I found tons of beach wedding stuff at HotRef Party Favors, but these were my favorites.
The first thing you’ll want to think about when planning a beach wedding is invitations. I love these simple blue invitations, and you’ll see that they have the starfish theme that I chose to use for my sample beach wedding plan today.
For my own wedding, I did a simple DIY for our bouquet and boutonniere. It was a lot of work, but it saved a lot of money! I bought the shells and guessed my way through it, I think they turned out pretty well.

One of the best parts about getting married on the beach is that the decor can be very simple. You don’t need much, just chairs, tables for the reception, and maybe a simple arch. If I was planning another beach wedding, I would simply move the chairs from the wedding site to nearly tables for the reception.
Whether your reception is actually on the beach or not, these wine bottle charms are adorable and a unique way to serve your wine or champagne. For table decorations, I love these starfish candle holders. I think they would look really great at night.
One more thing for the table is something for guests to know where to sit. The beach themed placecard holders have starfish, of course! Alternatively these small starfish frames could double as place markers and party favors.
You will want to make sure that all of your accessories go along with your beach theme, and I really love this starfish accessory set. It comes with a guest book, pen, cake knife servers and toasting glasses.
If you’re looking for favors, I love the beach theme candle favors, and I bet your guests will too! The shore memories bottle openers are also sure to be a huge hit. I love that either of these favors can also be personalized with the bride and grooms names, the wedding date or a personal message.
Have you ever wear a beach wedding dress? I think that getting married on the beach is beautiful and can be a great budget wedding if you do it right. I also have a beach wedding inspiration board on Pinterest, if you’re looking for more beach themed ideas. If you have any ideas for a beach wedding, I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
