Best Uses for Peppermint Essential Oil
I am going to start off right here saying that I don’t sell essential oils for a MLM company. I have nothing against DoTerra or Young Living, but I don’t sell either one. Both companies have great quality products, but I want to start this series by letting you know that I don’t sell either one and I am not trying to recruit you. 😉 I will let you know what I recommend below, but wanted to start this with the disclaimer that I am not a distributor or a member of any group like this!
Now that we have that out of the way, on to the good stuff! The best uses for peppermint essential oil is post one in a series that I will be doing about essential oils. I love using essential oils in our home, but I use them in a very realistic way. If you’re interested in trying essential oils, but think some of what you’ve read is just “too much” then this series will be for you! The series will be full of practical and realistic uses for essential oils, along with advice on which brands I recommend and safety tips.
Have you ever thought about doing a Whole 30? I have started doing a Whole 30, twice, but I haven’t completed one yet. 🙁 I wrote a post about why I failed the Whole 30, it’s basically a rant about why the Whole 30 is a joke. Don’t read it for inspiration. Now I’m back and ready to try again. This time around, I am going to do better with meal planning and meal prepping, and I am going to stick it out all the way through. Are you interested in doing a March Whole 30 for yourself? Keep reading!
How to save money on healthy food (the easy way)
Food is expensive. There just isn’t any way to get around it. Unless you grow and raise your own food, you probably spend quite a bit of your monthly budget on groceries. We have all heard of the various ways to save money on food. Couponing, price matching, searching for sales. All of those methods do work, but with a couple of minor issues. The first issue is that these methods take time. I used to “heavily” coupon, and I spent a lot of hours searching for coupons online, cutting them out of the paper, searching for sales, and shopping. It was exhausting. The second issue is that it was hard to find coupons for real food. They do exist, but getting them usually entails contacting companies individually rather than finding the coupons in the paper. I still find ways to save money on food, but that doesn’t include hours of couponing anymore. I have two “secret weapons” that I use, if you want to know how to save money on healthy food, keep reading!
October Favorites – Fitness, Food and Beauty
I have decided to start writing monthly favorites blog post. I will do these at the beginning of every month focusing on things that I loved from the prior month. In this post, I will go over my favorite items in fitness, food and (maybe) beauty products. I hope to continue this post in video form when I get my YouTube channel up and running. I love watching “Favorites” videos, leave me a comment if you like them too!
If you are on a health and fitness journey, you have probably wondered about counting calories. There has been a lot of recent talk about macros in the health community, and many wonder the differences between calorie counting vs. macro counting. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion and what has worked best for me. What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. I always advise doing a little trial and error and figuring out what works best for your personal heath and fitness journey.
