My kids are completely obsessed with Hawaii, half of that is because my husband and I frequently travel to Hawaii, and half of it is thanks to Moana. How to save money on healthy food (the easy way)
Food is expensive. There just isn’t any way to get around it. Unless you grow and raise your own food, you probably spend quite a bit of your monthly budget on groceries. We have all heard of the various ways to save money on food. Couponing, price matching, searching for sales. All of those methods do work, but with a couple of minor issues. The first issue is that these methods take time. I used to “heavily” coupon, and I spent a lot of hours searching for coupons online, cutting them out of the paper, searching for sales, and shopping. It was exhausting. The second issue is that it was hard to find coupons for real food. They do exist, but getting them usually entails contacting companies individually rather than finding the coupons in the paper. I still find ways to save money on food, but that doesn’t include hours of couponing anymore. There has been a lot of recent talk about macros in the health community, and many wonder the differences between calorie counting vs. macro counting. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion and what has worked best for me. What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another.
