After getting a few emails and requests, I realized that a lot of people don’t fully understand how to join Pinterest group boards, or even how they work. If you’re a new blogger or a blogger who is just starting to use Pinterest group boards or Facebook sharing groups, I hope that this post will help you!
In the past few months, I’ve had a lot of requests to join my group boards on Pinterest. Once you get a certain number of followers (1,000-2,000), newer bloggers or Pinterest users will want to join your boards. Being part of a group board with more followers than you can help get eyeballs on your content. That’s a good thing!
I also created a Facebook group. Both of these things are great, and I am so excited that people want to be part of what I am doing! However, I have noticed that some bloggers don’t seem to understand the “unspoken rules” of Pinterest group boards. I wanted to write this post to talk about Pinterest group board best practices, but also touch on Facebook group best practices since they are often interlinked.
