Did you know that tipping at Sandals Resorts is forbidden in most cases? It’s true! You can read more here: Everything You Need to Know About Tipping at Sandals Resorts. However, there are a few exceptions. You can tip transfer drivers, spa staff, excursion guides, and, of course, Butlers!
So, how much should you tip a Butler at Sandals Resorts? The truth is there is no “set” amount. However, it’s generally agreed that it’s appropriate to tip about $20 per Butler, per shift. You should tip your Butler more if you are in a higher-category room, such as an overwater bungalow or villa. Butlers in these premium room categories serve fewer clients, sometimes as few as 2!

You should tip as generously as you are able, as Butler truly go above and beyond to provide you a premium experience. Some guests tip as much as $100 per Butler and sometimes even more. While there is no true set amount, please do not be stingy and tip your Butler well, especially for excellent service.
