Why to choose a babymoon package at Sandals Resorts
Here’s why to choose a babymoon package at Sandals Resort. If you’re expecting and considering a babymoon, Sandals Resorts is one of the best destinations for a babymoon! Today I will share all about the babymoon package at Sandals Resorts plus more tips for a babymoon at Sandals.
Before we get started, let me introduce myself. My name is Amy, and I’m a travel agent specializing in honeymoons, destination weddings, vacations, and yes, babymoons!
Years ago, I started with Hawaii travel but have branched into Mexico and the Caribbean, and now I am a top travel agent with Sandals Resorts.
What is a babymoon?
A babymoon is a relaxing or romantic vacation for parents-to-be before the baby is born. Babymoons are most common when having your first baby, but a babymoon can happen before any baby is born! Just remember that Sandals is adults-only, so you’ll need to find childcare for any other children during your trip.
However, Beaches Resorts are family-friendly if you want to make it a family babymoon!

So, why choose a babymoon at Sandals Resorts?
- All-Inclusive Luxury: Sandals Resorts packages includes meals, drinks, and many resort activities under one upfront price, allowing you to focus on relaxation without worrying about extra costs. This makes budgeting smoother and the vacation less stressful.
- Expectant Parent Focus: The babymoon package at Sandals is specially customized to address comfort and safety with amenities such as pregnancy-safe spa treatments and tailored dining options that honor nutritional needs during pregnancy. The babymoon package even comes with a pregnancy pillow for your stay!
You may wonder why stay at an all-inclusive if you can’t drink alcohol, but I always remind couples that many people visit Sandals Resorts without drinking at all!
Many people don’t drink for health, religious, or other reasons, and still enjoy all-inclusive resorts. Yes, alcohol is always included at Sandals Resorts, but you can also enjoy wonderful dining and fun mocktails!
What is included in the Sandals babymoon package?
First, you’ll need to choose your resort and room type. I have a blog post on the Sandals Resort locations, as well as room categories at Sandals Resorts. Or, you can contact me and I’ll walk you through all of it! I recommend a club-level or Butler level room for the best experience.
Once your room type and resort are selected, we can add the babymoon package. This package is $900 and includes:
- Sweet Suite Treats (Sparkling cider & chocolate-covered fruit)
- Meal Planning for Mom-to-Be
- Sleep Easy Essentials* (maternity pillow for use during your stay & sleep mask to keep)
- Breakfast in Bed
- Cravings Menu
- Parents-to-be Massage (Prenatal massage for mom, Swedish massage for dad – 1 hour)
- Baby bump photoshoot (30 minutes, 10 digital images)
- Candlelight Dinner
Booked separately, these amenities would come in well over $900, so the babymoon package offers a fantastic value and Sandals has truly thought about all the little things to make your trip more enjoyable!
There are additional add-ons available.
When is the best time for a babymoon?
Babymoons typically happen during the second trimester, or very early in the third trimester. Talk to your doctor or midwife before planning a vacation and ask them about the ideal time to travel. You’ll likely be the most comfortable during your second trimester, so this is often the most ideal time to travel.
Keep in mind that some airlines have restrictions on how late in pregnancy you can fly, but your doctor will likely advise that you not travel that late anyway.
Insurance is advised, and is fortunately very affordable to add on as part of your Sandals vacation package!
Which Sandals Resorts are best for a babymoon?
Honestly, all of the Sandals Resorts are fantastic options for a babymoon! If you want to stay closer to home, Sandals Royal Bahamian is the closest Sandals Resort to the U.S.
The Sandals Resorts in Jamaica are going to be the next closest for those wanting to stay within a few hours of their homes. Otherwise, St. Lucia is always a favorite!
