Are transfers included at Sandals Resorts?
No matter how far the resort is from the airport, transfers are always included at Sandals Resorts! For certain room categories, you receive luxury transfers. It makes that drive a little more bearable for the resorts that are further away. Now, let’s get to the distances and answer the question: “What are the Sandals Resorts that are closest to the airport?”
How far are Sandals Resorts from the airports?
First, let’s review the resorts and their distances from the airports. Then, I’ll discuss the top five Sandals Resorts that are closest to the main airport. All times are approximate and will vary depending on traffic and time of day. Resorts Under 20 minutes from the airport:

Why some of the further resorts might be worth it
Sandals Grande St. Lucian is often thought of as one of the best Sandals Resorts. Sandals South Coast is a fan-favorite in Jamaica. The newest Sandals Resort, Sandals Saint Vincent, has two-story overwater bungalows! So, while they are further, they do have a lot to offer!

Sandals Montego Bay
Just minutes from the airport, the private, secluded beach at Sandals Montego Bay is the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with your partner. Check out The best Sandals Resorts in Jamaica to learn more about Montego Bay.
Sandals Grenada
Sandals Grenada is easily the best all-inclusive resort in Grenada. As a Sandals Travel Agent, I’m often asked, “What is the best Sandals Resort?” and Sandals Grenada is always high on my list! This resort is also one of the most innovative spaces in the world, where you will see many unique features during your stay. This Sandals Resort is located directly on Pink Gin Beach. The beach only intensifies the beauty and ambiance of this resort. Of course, the pools suspended in the sky and the beachfront pool also help create those magical moments. I have a blog post entirely dedicated to Sandals Grenada; check it out here: Everything You Need to Know About Sandals Grenada.
Sandals Royal Caribbean
Sandals Royal Caribbean is one of only two Sandals Resorts in Jamaica that offer overwater bungalows. The other one, South Coast, is very far from the airport! These overwater bungalows are located on Sandals’ private island, making them even more intimate and secluded.
Sandals Royal Caribbean also offers a private offshore island and some of the most luxurious accommodations at any Sandals Resort. It has been repeatedly voted the Best Resort in Jamaica, so if you want to make sure you’re getting a great resort plus luxe accommodations, this may be the best Sandals Resort for you! Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados
There are currently two Sandals Resorts in Barbados. The first is Sandals Barbados, and the other is Sandals Royal Barbados. These resorts are located near each other on the island’s southern end. They are near the St. Lawrence Gap. Staying at one resort gives you access to the other, which is why I’ve mentioned them together. I have an entire blog post about both of these resorts; check it out here: Sandals Resorts in Barbados.
Sandals Royal Bahamian
Sandals Royal Bahamian is located in the capital of Nassau, which is on New Providence Island. If you want to vacation as close to home as possible, then this is the best option as it’s the closest Sandals Resort to the US. Learn more about both Resorts in the Bahamas here: Two Amazing Sandals Resorts in the Bahamas.
Sandals Emerald Bay
Sandals Emerald Bay is located in George Town on the island of Great Exuma. This Bahamian-inspired Resort Offers privacy and tranquility. Modern features are throughout the resort, which blends seamlessly with the island’s natural surroundings. Have you heard of swimming with the pigs in Exuma? This is the only Sandals Resort that gets you close enough to do that!
Sandals Grande Antigua
Sandals Grande Antigua, and the entire island of Antigua, is known for its white-sand beaches. This Sandals Resort is located on Dickenson Bay. This is the most famous beach in Antigua. The entire resort is surrounded by swaying palm trees, lush plants, and, of course, the main attraction, the beach. If you’re looking for the Sandals Resort with the best beach, this one is hard to beat! Check out Everything You Need to Know About Sandals Grande Antigua to learn even more.
