Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts “Hogwarts Always Light Show”

A brand new light show (known as the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle) is debuting on June 14, 2024. We’ll be there for one of the very first shows and will bring you lots of photos and videos of the new light show. Bookmark this page and come back to see more!

The Nighttime Lights show does not follow a fixed schedule each week. Guests should consult the Universal Orlando App for nightly showtimes.

Where is the best place to watch the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle? 

Honestly, anywhere that you have a good view of the castle! A few fun but lesser-known places are in the queue for Hagrid’s or while riding Flight of the Hippogriff. Remember, if you’re in the Hagrids queue, you’ll have to keep moving! 

What are the other Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle?

The new “Hogwarts Always Light Show” is expected to run as the regular light show through the summer, but what other Nighttime Lights shows are there? 

• Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle – Generally running in October.
• The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle – Typically offered from December to New Year’s. 

Do I need a rental car for a Universal vacation?
